By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

By registering for or using Pathience, you affirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind your organization to these Terms. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any modifications to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Pathience automates employee engagement through AI-driven feedback collection, performance insights, and recognition tools within Slack, Teams, and other supported platforms. The Service helps organizations:

• Gather and analyze employee feedback.
• Recognize employee achievements publicly.
• Facilitate structured performance reviews.

3. Account Registration & Access

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• Unauthorized access or use of the Service is strictly prohibited.

4. Use of AI-Generated Content

• The AI-generated insights, feedback summaries, and recognition messages provided by Pathience are for informational purposes only and should not replace human judgment.
• You acknowledge that AI-based recommendations may not always be perfect or contextually accurate.

5. User Responsibilities

• You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to:
• Uploading unlawful, harmful, or inappropriate content.
• Attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Pathience to:

• Post, share, or distribute content related to illegal drugs, pornography, hate speech, or violence.
• Engage in harassment, discrimination, or any form of harmful behavior.
• Promote or facilitate illegal activities.
• Spam, phish, or distribute malware.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or exploit vulnerabilities in the Service.

7. Responsible AI Use

• Pathience is committed to ethical AI use and responsible data practices.
• Users must ensure that AI-generated content is reviewed before making critical decisions.
• The Service should not be used to automate disciplinary actions, bias employee evaluations, or replace human oversight in sensitive matters.
• We continuously improve our AI models to enhance fairness, transparency, and accuracy.
• AI can make mistakes. We are not responsible for any damage caused by AI errors. The content generated by the AI models should be carefully reviewed and verified by users before taking any actions based on it.
• Our platform utilizes AI models from various third-party vendors. We are not responsible for any content generated by these AI models.

8. Privacy & Data Security

Pathience collects and processes user data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We implement security measures to protect user data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Subscription & Payment

• Pathience offers annual subscription plans, billed per user, with no refunds.
• New users added mid-term will be billed automatically to the credit card on file, prorated to the end of the current term.
• All users will be automatically renewed at the end of the term.
• Prices may increase at the time of renewal, and you will be billed at the current rates.

10. Termination

• You may stop using the Service at any time.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities.

11. Intellectual Property

• Pathience and its associated content, trademarks, and technology are owned by Pathience.
• Users may not copy, modify, or distribute our technology or branding without explicit permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

• Pathience is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes signifies acceptance of the new Terms.
